PSP Version 2.70 TA-082 Downgrading

I need help on how to downgrade my PSP Version 2.70 TA-082 so it can play emulators and all that. Ive been looking for along time and i cant find anything please help!

hmm....I think you'll have to upgrade to 2.80 and then downgrade to 1.50. Here's the link for the 2.80 downgrade stuff:

I've never messed with the Ta-082 I had. Although mine was 2.81, so this wouldn't work with it. I found a 2.71 downgrader, but I don't think it works with TA-082.

Yeah i dont know i think im just going to buy a 1.50 one sometime.

Can you return the 2.71 you have now? Ebay is a great place to find 1.50 systems or I've heard that EBgames and Gamestops have used systems for sale. I've heard that they'll let you check the firmware before you buy....

I think i just may sell my psp right now. How much do i think i would get for it if i sold it, i just got it yesterday. Cause i really want to play other games on it.

Check out this link. It will walk you through it step by step. It isn't as hard as some make it out to be. If you can follow directions, you'll be fine.

Since yours is a TA-082, you definitely want to use the 2.80 downgrader. The link above provides download links for all the files necessary for the downgrading process. Upgrade to 2.71, then look here. I downgraded a TA-082 without incident, then upgraded to 3.03 OE.
