what do i need for a curit to convert 10.5v to 9v
trying to connect a ntl/virgin/cable modem to the psu on a pc for a friend just want to find out what resisters i need to convert the power for it

so you are connecting it to the power supply in the computer?
where did you get 10.5v from?
anyways. the router probably has its own 7805. it would probably do fine with 10.5v or more. when you are dealing with AC wall adapters you need to account for a lot of error.
