gp2x

Post by Nonsense Man »

I have some questions about the gp2x because my DS is boring me and i want a portable that has a lot of features.
1. Where does one buy a gp2x other than eBay?
2. What systems are their emulators for?
3. Where can i buy cheap SD cards ?
4. Can it go on the internet/do word processing?

1. gp2x.co.uk
2.basically everything up to psx
3. ebay newegg etc, usually be able to get 2gb for around 15-20$
4. internet yes sort of word processing i havent checked lately but if you have a breakout board you can attach keyboard and wifi via usb. or do internet over the usb port. unless your familiar with networking stuff its not very easy

3.Tigerdirect.com or Newegg.com
4.Word processing (Mabye) Internet (I don't think so)

What I want to do, is Hook a Dreamcast up to my computer through a Modem, and then feed it through my broadband connection so I can play DC games online.

But Since there is no TV near my computer I will have to wait.

1. not sure, that's where I got mine (~$220 with a 2GB card and power adapter and video out cord)
2. NES (GpFce), Genesis/Sega CD (PictoDrive), SNES (DrPocketSnes), GameBoy Advance (gpSP2X), & more (Those are the ones I use.)
3. not quite sure. Just so you know, SDHC will be supported in Open2X (custom firmware by the scene, not GPH), but is not at the present time.
4. I haven't, but I know it's possible (and a royal pain).
