Time Warner/RoadRunner. It works pretty well, I had to reinstall the cable through the attic though, since the cable installer decided it would be a good idea to put the modem behind 3 or 4 splitters. Then I laid an ethernet cable across the attic to my room for XBL and other things. I need to get a new wifi router for this half of the house since the Airport Express we have has no range hardly, which btw is why I'm always signing on and off of AIM at random times. Digital cable service here is decent also: my family doesn't have an HDTV, but the cable box/Tivo box makes a great combo.

If I want digital cable in my room, do I have to buy a new digital cable box, and will it add more on the monthly fee? Anyone know?

Comcast is king around here, but we don't have it. Just plain-old over-the-air FREE TV. One of my friends once asked me "Why do you have antenna TV? Is it cheaper?"

For TV?! (What do you get on speedtest.net?)

For you guys with Dish Network: how much would decent service (History Channel, Cartoon Network...) be, including enough decoder boxes to support 6 or 7 TVs?

I have the oldest cable provider in the country, Service Electric Cable TV. They were horrible until the finally upgraded to digital cable last year. Now we get a decent picture.
