Hacking of Laptop screens possible?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Hacking of Laptop screens possible?

Post by Barclay »

Hi, I've got a broken down NEC laptop recently. And I'm curious if there's anyway I could get that LCD screen to be used for connecting to other devices (TV/PS2/other game consoles) to work.

Or perhaps some links links to tutorials and informations are appreciated.

Thanks.

99.9999999% of the time no, if you have a very rare laptop that has a seperate controller board for the screen, and can mod it to accept an analoge signal they yes. But thats damn near inpossible.
