Making my own Genesis model 2 AV cables...

I'm a newbie to this kind of stuff, so sorry if this sounds stupid.

I have the pinout and I'm trying to use some spare speaker wires from a bargain home theater system. All I need to know is how to get the signal from my Genesis pinouts to my TV's composite inputs.

P.S.: I know this is probably asked a lot, but... I searched the forums, I browsed for a help topic on things like this... nothing. Every time it comes up, it ends with people simply saying "But of course you know how to do that that already". The end. Unfortunately, I don't.

Just pick up some connectors like these:

Solder the signal wire to the inside pin and the ground to the ring. (This applies to audio and video.)

EDIT: Yes you need 2 wires per plug.

So that means I need two wires per plug? One for the signal and one for ground?

Yes, you sure have to cos a plug without a ground means nothing. Just make sure you solder the signal wire inside and the ground outside. That's it! You've done!

Couldn't you have one wire being ground? and then connect that to all the ground rings of the plugs?

Yep, you only need one ground.

lol I just found some A/V cable in my basement and they work perfectly with the Genesis 2.
