I just took the main logo and put it against a white background. If anyone can come up with something better (vertical size not to exceed 75 pixels) then let them show their stuff!

The ads are staying, sorry. My cost goes up, more ads go up. That's life!

What happened to taking donations like back in the day? And could they please at least be moved, I like having the logo on the top left and the forum controls on the top right. Maybe you could get those annoying mouse-over things that have link appear when you mouse-over words like "PSone" and "SNES" or have the links at the bottom. Could forum members post them on their sites, so there would be more people seeing them without cluttering the forums and you get more money?

I don't see any problems with this design, not that it takes much to get used to the links under the logo. I'd hate to see those text rollover popup ads though, those suck :P

This makes me think, is the new plan really necessary? The old one worked out up until a couple days ago when the PS360 controller took the web by storm, so for everyday traffic it seems... I don't know... overkill?

This isn't just a ruse to get the ads out of the forums. More money for hosting means less money for other important stuff! (Like gas and beer) Maybe instead of a big cluster you could do a single line of links at the top and a line at the bottom? I know the ads need to be there but that doesn't mean they can't be more asteticly pleasing. (Or, you know, maybe subliminal :P)

I don't mind having ads. As long as the logo links back to the index page it's all good. :)

EDIT: ;)

i dont have a problem with the ads but CHANGE THEM. as they are with my resolution they are twice the height of the logo, get rid of that stupid text

Auto-searches open in a new window for your viewing pleasure. takes up two lines, and the left column is one higher than the right and the center column is one shorter than the right

You should run 1024x768 but set the screen to 122 dpi. Hey it works for my grandfather! :P

Make the text bigger, and set up a couple user profiles so you cna have a more normal looking desktop.

I make that:

I know that is not "HD Quality", but that's an idea I had. If someone like it and make it look better, go for it. (I have Photoshop CS2, but it's not working anymore)

Nice to see someone interest in it. I originally made that:

Which is MUCH better, but I had to fit with the size limit...
But I will try to make my Photoshop Working. I paid $800 for it and it keep saying me that I need a legal serial key!
