ok i need some help here. i need to know if there is a way to replace the copper contact on a circuitboard. i was soldering a lead on to a board and i guess i held the iron there too long and the copper square that the wire connects to came off the board. is there any way to relace it or is the board screwed?
P.S. it is a copper square on the right analog stick of an XBox 360 controller that connects one of the potentiometers to the board.
euhm do you stil see some of the trace. You can wire a jumper from the pot pin to the trace. If the trace is covered with some green mask scrape it away.
