The USB stick. Help?

I have always wanted to run an OS off my usb stick (1gb or 2g) to use games and stuff at school. OFr a wile I ran PClinuxOS, a sort of hacked up linux made for running an USB drives. Then... I wanted more....

I have two main options, one of whitch may be possible, the other might not, the two OS's I would like to run on my stick, are Windows Xp, and MACosX86, can somone give me some help with these.

I know there is a WindowsXP USB stick edition, or the like, but couldn;t get this working, I have a Legit verion of WindowsXP to use if needed ( my tech guy at school gave me 65 licences for windows xp home for free )

Any help here guys?

You'll never get OSX86 running off of a USB Stick. When you install it, it installs the hacks to run it for only the PC it's installing, so you won't be able to load it on any other PC.

As for XP, theres like a 64 or 128 MB Version of XP called XP for USB or something on Demonoid, check that out. I know you said you tried one, but try this one too.

That doesnt tell you how to do anything tho...anyway, Use Flashboot and BartPE

First Run BartPE to make a bootable disk of XP and then Run Flashboot to convert that Bootable Disk into a Bootable USB Version of XP.

Actually the hacks are for either Intel or AMD, so in theory you could have it running on any Intel SSE2/SSE3 PC.

But when i installed OSX86 a year or so ago, only certain Pentium 4's were supported.....is this fixed now? If so, i guess he'd be ok.

Pretty much any Intel or AMD proc. with SSE2 or SSE3 is supported.

Can someone give me a guide for dual booting vista and OS X theres my computer if it helps but mine has a 5200+ processor and i don't know if it has SSE2 or SSE3 so can someone help me

there is my processor it says in the multimedia instruction MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, 3DNOW! Professional and im just really confused
