WTB: a couple of laptops
I'm looking for a couple cheap laptops.
Specs:
Needs:
200-800MHz processor
2MB or more video card
Power adapter and battery, don't care how long it lasts, just a few minutes is enough
screen and other essentials working
Want:
at least 128MB of RAM
2-10GB hard drive
Windows 98 SE
I was hoping to pay about $50 for each of them depending on what they have and how good it is, if you have one I might be interested in, post the specs and that here or PM them to me. I want to get it from someone in the USA to keep shipping down, but I'll consider international, especially Canada because its so close.

It doesn't power on? If thats the case, I'd don't really want it, I don't feel like messing with that stuff on a laptop.CronoTriggerfan wrote:http://auctions.yahoo.com/i:IBM%20Think ... :234223963

Ok, I didn't think it was, but you can never be too sure. Can you get info on the video memory? Your link said 8MB, but another source said 2.5MB. What kind of disc drive does it have? And how much would you want for it?CronoTriggerfan wrote:Ummm... That's definitely not my laptop.Just take a look at the maximum specs. The one you'd get is 100% working, 'cept the batter won't hold a charge for more than 5 minutes. But it runs off AC power just fine.
