hey calm down, check and make sure that they have your preorder all on one number, if not, then they should be able to consoladate it, 5.5 sounds pretty bad though how much money did you have in trade in credit? and how much did you have left over...
also, make sure that you go to the same gamestop every time, they reserves are only a local thing so if you went to the one across town and accidently reserved something there by mistake...
There are a lot of aoptions just have the receipts at all times...that is the only not getting screwed way...oh yeao one more thing, make sure you are good friends with all the guys, that way they are always in YOUR favor, things usually work better when you have an "in"
Perosnally I work there and see a lot of problems that could be resolved, and yet there is some method to the madness, just calm down, have everything you want ready and don't be a royal pain in the ass...trust me IT REALLY HELPS! and yes GPGs are worth it!!!!! (most of the time)

Hmmm....what could you do to remedy this...
All transactions are stored in the computers. At the end of the day all money is counted. On the day of your transaction, assuming you paid in cash, there would have been a discrepency. The only thing I can think of is for you to get ahold of the store manager, explain your problem in detail, and ask him to check the books.
