I disagree, because I somehow managed to learn to play without my pinky, and I can get 5 stars expert no problem. So really you only need 3 fingers until they add 4 button chords

On Topic: I don't really have something to say on topic, I suck at Guitar Hero. I basically just wanted to show my feelings about His Sig,
so I wasted about 6-7 seconds of your life by reading these few sentences. Yet your probably still reading this. You like Ham? I like Ham. Honey Ham is better than all other types of Ham. Mustard is good with any kind of Ham though. I think I've had enough. Sorry for wasting about 14 seconds of your life now. G'Day.

Gaah I can't get past 49% on surrender on hard.

Not just having trouble with the orange not but also with just keeping up.

Tips?

I passed Medium a couple days ago, although I would like to go back and improve on my scores since they weren't the hottest.

A method I found that helps is doing the Hammer On (?) method explained in the Advanced Techniques. This helps a lot as you can essentially hold down Green for the majority of the song and then just hit the other notes as need be. I just started doing this last night after seeing my wife be successful using it and it does work. You may know this already, but thought I'd pass the tip on.

In other GH news... Did you guys see how much they're shanking people for GH downloads?!?

500 points for each 3 song pack. That works out to $6.25 per pack. Plus, they are songs from the original Guitar Hero which would have needed some rework to add the co-op elements for Rhythm and Bass, but this seems a little high in my opinion.

I was thinking something more like 100 points per song would have been reasonable.

Thoughts?

Hey jones, well you have to consider that they prob had to like buy new licences for THIS game. Stil it's a bit of a rip off. And I didn't see I love rock and roll in ANY of the packs.

I played for a little longer on Medium tonight, starting to get the hang of it, maybe. Still not using my pinkie at all though, maybe tomorrow...

Wait, you guys don't play Medium with your pinky? It's really odd, because I play like a 'machine'. On Medium at least. I keep all of my four fingers set up on the buttons and just play as I go...not moving my hand at all!

Hyperspeed mode? It makes the song seem as if it's going faster, but in reality it just spreads the notes out to give the faster appearance. Sometimes it helps me on songs like Hanger 18 on expert where there's a lot of notes close together... I dunno just thought it might help. The code has to be entered at the title screen-

Orange Blue Orange Yellow Orange Blue Orange Yellow

And sometimes it doesn't work the first time, so just keep hitting it until it tells you you've activated it.

Yeah, hyperspeed mode still allows you to save, especially since most would consider it to be harder, but once you get used to it, it makes things easier!

I've always considered Hyperspeed cheat, but have second thoughts as if my achievements will be affected. In saints row, if you use cheats, your achievements are disabled.
