i have undertaken a bit of a wierd project, everything was going smoothly till i got to the analog sticks! ok this is what im doing: i am taking a single 360 controller and wiring it to 2 joysticks. the joysticks of choice are the Logitech Attack 3 Joystick (cheap and solid). wiring the bottons are no problem, but the damn analogs are giving me problems up the ass. first off im not exactly sure how to wire it so im kind of trial and erroring it. second, the shoulder trigger buttons also seem to use potentiometers which was unexpected and complicates the mix even further. any ideas on how i would go about wiring this?
incase you are wondering, im doing the dual joystick set up for mech sim games like Armored Core 4 and Chromehounds. going to take the joystick setup and put into a "cockpit" of sorts to make a full on mech simulator.

yeah thats what i was planning on doing for foot pedals. how do i check the value of the pots for the stick and controller? ... as for the whole project ill post some pics when its finished. im planning on going balls out on this thing to make it as close to real as possible. will probably put some pointless LEDs and glowing crap just for ambiance.
