Simple fun psone screen project Digital Photo Frame.

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

I had the same problem with the rolling grey bars but scherubino pointed me in the right direction. I added the voltage regulating circuit found in Ben's book... page 159 I believe (Nes section on powering the screen) and it cleared it up perfectly. I am also using the unregulated input power to power my sandisk photo album and they both work great now.

EDIT: Actually, the circuit in the book did not do it for me since the output voltage was like 7.1V. If you replace the 150ohm with a 100ohm resistor it makes the make like this Vout=1.25(1+R2/R1).

7.5V=1.25(1+[3900/780])

the 780 is the 680ohm and the 100ohm in series. works perfect now
