Fraps won't capture audio.

Post by A_Username »

I bought Fraps so my friends and I could make Half-Life 2 video montage things. The problem is that fraps won't capture ingame audio at all. The "Detect Best Settings" have the sound device is set to "SigmaTel Audio" and the Sound Input is set to "Stereo Mix" The "Use Windows Input" has the device set to "SigmaTel Audio" again, but the input is set to "microphone". What am I doing wrong, I've used fraps on other computers but haven't had this problem. My sound card is a Sound Blaster Audigy SE, if that helps, I don't know where the SigmaTel thing came from. But within fraps you can't change the sound device in anyway that I know of.

Look for your sound card on the list (if there is one) and choose it. Then where the "Microphone" box is, change it to say "What U Hear"
