dvd ripping

all the movies i put on my zune are my movies that i purchased, i don't do all that illegal stuff :wink: and to the question of why someone has a zune, well some people prefer a better product over something that is to be pruchased purely as a fashion accessorie :cough ipod:

better interface, bigger screen, fm radio, and less problems. :)

I don't use and by that I mean I use X-OOM Movie Clone 3. It works really well... Not that I would know. I found it to be slow, but that's probably because ripping 4.7 GB of data is slow.

It depends on the DVD-ROM drive. One of my drives rips really slow, but the other rips uber-fast. Both are 16x drives.

I can vouch for that. I have a 6x DVD-ROM that took about 10-15 to work up to about 5x, but any other DVD-ROM I've used goes foom 0x to max in less then 2 minutes. Don't know why just some act strange.
