Captain Falcon FTW!

I have some friends who always manage to stomp me into the ground on that game, no matter how much I practice.

Good fun :D

I'm the best at the game out of everyone I know who plays it, which is only like 5 or so people. I play as ganondorf just because i love his power, yet he is brokenly slow like bowser.

I'm probably not tournament quality(depends on the tourny) since i don't wave dash, and I use ganondorf. But i think the sheet "wtf im fighting ganondorf" might be enough to throw people, since they're so used to counter specific characters.

My second character choice is link. I can do very well as basically anyone. I can beat all my friends as any character at any level(some more easily than others). So i switch up often to make it interesting.

You really need to learn to use wavedashing (more) or something, that was one of the slowest matches I've seen! :P

I only play the original N64 SSB because of 5 reasons -

1. The new characters are much more powerful than the old ones.
2. The items in SSBM are too unbalanced (I could rant, but I won't)
3. Melee is just not as fluid as the original. It always feels spastic to me. The graphic style abandoned the funny cartoon feel which made the game fluid and adapted a realistic style, which at the high speed of play just makes the game look spastic.
4. The character I play as (you'll never guess who) SUCKS in Melee.
5. There are many "pro techniques" like wavedashing and L-canceling etc. which personally just take away from the game for me. A game should be played for fun, not practiced like a sport and exploited for its glitches.
6. I don't own SSBM!

Flame me if you wish, try to convince me, but you won't. Personally, I think Melee just isn't as great a game as the original. It just departed so far from the original that it didn't work for me.

PS: Whomever can pm me the name of the character I use on the first try will win a special surprise something from my sale!

PPS: IT ISN'T NESS! :D That'd be too obvious!

Well there's only 8 characters in SSB. I bet it's either Pikachu or Ness.

Looking at his avatar, I'd say Ness. :P

Ness only sucks when you face pros.

And pros Cheat (I said it) Glitch exploits, are cheating.
(Example:GearsOW, Chainsaw glitch: once done you can chainsaw anybody that get near you even if you dont have the chainsaw out.
Shotgun glitch: They can run and shoot the shotgun at the same time.

Yeah glitching is cheating in my eyes, so yes I cheat are Mario Kart DS, but I tried this wave dashing and I cant perfect it.

Neither wavedashing nor snaking in Mario Kart DS are glitches, so I have no idea what you're referring to.

But they were not inteneded to be used in that fasion (Exploiting Drift for extra Speed in Mario Kart) (And Wave Dashing Exploiting the air dodge)
Wikipedia"In video games, a glitch is a term used by players to indicate a programming error which results in behavior not intended by the programmers. Programming errors in games vary from incorrectly displaying graphics, game-freezing, erroneous power-up adjustments to the shutting down of the system playing it. The occurrence of some glitches can be replicated deliberately by doing a series of certain tasks in a specific order; a famous glitch in Super Mario Bros. is a simple example."
