frets on fire!

today I found a guitar hero-esque game called frets on fire for the PC. you can make your own tracks to (the song you take it from has to be in ogg format

)

I have a problem with this game though. how do you strap the keyboard on you?

anyone else see this game?

WARNING: some virus protectors will recognize python24.dll a virus when it is not. it does because a program under the same name is a virus. it isnt though.

I play that once in a while, I find it easier if you use 1-5 keys instead of F1-F5 . You can find some songs copied directly from Guitar Hero for it. Im not sure of the legality on the whole song system but its still cool

wow, its been taking the last half hour to load master of puppets, if not longer. is there a problem? ( i uploaded the song into the game)

i thought i was doing good, hitting the keys and watching them light up as they went past me. Turns out at the end of the song I got ZERO percent. So I gave up.

the bad things about that game is the songs suck and its hard to make your own.

You goof. You have to hold down the correct button(s), then hit the "strum" key (enter) as the button meets with the one at the bottom. It's made to copy real guitar actions.

Guitar Hero is better. But this is still neat, just because you can get some pretty neat songs that won't be made for GH. Unfortunatly most of the home-made suck really bad. Try them and you'll see what i mean. The only well done one I ever found was "Bodys" by Drowning Pool. That was fun

i saw this on digg. i finally got the game working full speed with my gh2 360 controller, but now i have to download a bunch of FoF songs from bitorrent and thats not as quick as i'd like.

Been playing this game for a while and must say I love it, it's fun making custom songs for it, I wish I had the proper guitar controller for it though.
