I've got two PC problems.
THe first PC:
It's a Dell latitude C600, and it would be fine, but I managed to delete locale.dll of W2k, so it won't boot. THat would be fine with safe mode, but that won't go either.
The CD drive would help, but it's broken.
I killed the USB. Anyone know where to get a new CD drive cheap?
THe second PC:
It's my mom's Apple Powerbook G4. THis PC's really messed up: OS9 still works, but the CD drive is broken, and when you plug in firewire stuff it overheats, then shuts down. Is the logic board going?
Oh please, mac fanboys, don't jump in with "GET A MAC". Apple's OS will never, ever be RAM-efficient, fun, or sufficient for my needs.

Then don't tell them about your Dell.
They'll just assume you're only using the PowerBook.

But then poeple will think I'm a mac person!
Nah, I'd have to wade through their stupid "using a $ sign in microsoft because they think it hasn't lost it's novelty yet, even though it just looks stupid" and their bad adverts that don't really give any good reasons to buy one of their computers.
Oh damn, I broke into a rant against apple's arseness again.
