Wireless guitar for 360 GH2?
Does anyone know how hard it'd be to combine a wireless controller with the guitar for the xbox 360? I love GH2, but the cord can get in the way passing the guitar around during parties.

Wookie Lover,
I dont know for sure how a guitar hero controller works but I would think it isn't much different then a street fighter arcade controller. Here are two articles showing how to solder in a 360 controller PCB into an arcade contoller.
Wired acrcade stick Mod

Wireless arcade stick Mod
http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2007/04/03 ... -wireless/
The concept for installing a 360 controller PCB should be the same for the guitar... but since I have never seen one or opened one I can't tell you if it would work. I hope this helps you or gives you ideas for doing this yourself. Good luck.

I guess I gotta wait for Microshaft to release the goods :'(

look in the manualjeroen wrote:I connected the guitar to my pc. It worked. (i already had 360 controller drivers) and I think the wammy was the z accis. I think the 360 controller has that as either one of the analogs ore l or r buttons.
edit: it's the analog. Now is their a way to deploy star power with the 360 controllr?
Ya I was just about to edit actually.
Altough I see no way of actually how do you calll that thing that you push down. In the manual. for the controller

edit: I thought of a way for the strim to work. Connect the buttons and the strim to NAND-GATES! when strim and button are pushed. gate goes low. Pulling down the corosponding button on the controller.

Any idea on how do do that? I can work out simple stuff like buttons and switches but anything beyond that confuses mejeroen wrote:Ya I was just about to edit actually.
