Apparently SuperShadow is going to be making the new movies in 2021.

What do you guys think? Is it a rumor or gonna happen?

Never going to happen unless lucas happens to run out of money and needs to make some new movies. If they ever do make them I hope they do a better job then episodes 1,2,3. Those just sucked.

I heard a while ago that George's son would make 7,8, and 9 and they'll have different characters and everything. They'll probably suck, but we'll just have to wait and see.

That definitely sucks. Star Wars saga is done. There should only be a place for fanfilms, not other Lucasfilm related productions. x/

I say the world may be ready for a thrid trilogy twenty years from now. Talk about epic storytelling. People will have aged forty+ years between seeing the first airing of Episode 4 and Episode 9!

Actually, many MANY years ago, around the release of episode 1, lucas said he had planned episodes 7-9, but wasn't going to turn them into movies. After episode 3, he confirmed it 100% that he wasn't going to make 7-9 into movies.
