xbox 360 3 red lights error

I heard about this on ebay. anyone know exactly what this is and if it is fixable?

Ok. early xbox got lot's of errors. (360's) they showed the three lights of doom. The doom part already gives away that it's not fixable. however some people confuse the 3 lights with 4 and 4 means that a cable isn't plugged in right or something.

so some morons could think that its broke when the cord really isnt plugged in?

If its four lights in stead of 3. But ya

edit: you can also get it fixed for a little less then it cost when warrenty runs out. Cheaper xbox 360 perhaps? Altough microsofts tech service sucks

yea people call it the ring of death and means a serous hardware error. and just as a concidence it usely happens just after the warrenty. im not saying anything but it makes you think.

Some times it can me that the GPU is messed up. Repairing this takes skill and professional equipment.
