If Consoles Were Cars...

The Wii would be a Honda Civic, because it's not very powerful but it's cheap and the kids love them and buy lots of plastic accessories for them. (However the Civic usually involves more tape...)

The PS3 would be a Lambroghini, because it's big, fast, powerful, expensive, and very few people have them.

The 360 would probably be something like a Mercedes. They're reasonably powerful, somewhat expensive but apparently not out of most peoples' budgets.

The Atari 2600 can only relate to one car: The classic Volkswagen Beetle. Why? Both were made for an insanely long period of time, remained virtually unchanged, and many people still like the things to this day.

And I couldn't help but stick this one in...

Windows is like any car made by Kia. Why? They're both relatively inexpensive, churned out by the buttload, and come with a huge warranty (update) period to go with the hundreds of problems found with the product.

my spin on it!

wii = not a civic but probably more of a small sports car like an MG, they are hard to find small cheap and not really powerful but awesome with great maneuverablility!

ps3 = obvious right here! freaking hummer H2! HUEG powerful expensive ugly and only idiots would buy one (i kid i kid!

)

360 = the range rover to PS3s hummer, not as big but still large and powerful less ugly and sorta cool

nes = 55 chevy, a classic that there were many made and is insanely popular still and sometimes sells for more than its worth

snes = 57 chevy! a lot like the 55 but even more popular and expensive!

virtualboy = EDSEL impressive but a massive commercial failure!

sega (consoles) = oldsmobile (company)l, long running never the absolute most popular but still in the forefront that gradually started to suck but had some real gems and finally faded away after a real good run

im sure i could come up with more lol

3d0 Is like a '67 mercury Cyclone convertible, powerful at the time, big, and kinda hard to find

SEGA CD is like a Ford with a small motor (under 8 cylinders, I am a ford person so I can say this

) Usually found in its prime or dead, no inbetweens

BlackBox/Atomos is like a 34' five window coop with a small block v8, plenty of power and built on the project car circuit, howeer, finding one that is "complete" is hard to do

PS2 is like a full size dodge ram van. It can carry lots of people but developes so many problems that most people would just trade it in for a new van. I know that from experience

the damn thing would have cost $16,000 in repairs just to pass saftey inspection.

Xbox is like a space shuttle transporter. It's a huge powerful beast, but if you want to fly a space shuttle, you can't get by with any other console.

Genesis= Dodge Viper, always considered better than major competitor (SNES=Corvette) but lately has been overshadowed.

Saturn=Personal helicopter, almost nobody has one but the few who do have a lot of fun with them.

Dreamcast= Jeep Wrangler, a lot of fun to have but not as mainstream as other cars.

No one I know has a Lamborghini, but I know a couple people with PS3s, same with Mercedes and 360. A better comparison would be:
PS3=Corvette, really powerful but costs a lot
360=Mustang, powerful, everyone has one
Wii=Civic, everyone has one and think its the coolest thing to put a fart cannon on it to make it seem cool (aka- Wiimote)

My favorite is the 360.
