Mystery 9 pin connector

I've got this wireless mini "Freeboard" keyboard, and would like to use it on my HTPC. Unfortunately the reciever has a funny connector on it.

The connector end looks like this:

I've been looking and can't find anything about this connector. There's a lot of stuff out there for the keyboard, but the reciever is different.

The keyboard is produced by Sejin, part # SPR-8696WT .

The reciever has a sticker on the bottom:

8x8, Inc.
KB-12
FCC: ICAN Class B
P/N 330-0019-001

Any ideas?

EDIT: It plugs into a mouse port on my projector, but that still doesn't make it work on the PC.

I think you might be able to find info in here. I can't see 'cause I haven't signed into it.
I think this connector is that form because it's a bit modern and made mainly for projectors.

Does anyone else have some ideas? Please, this keyboard seems pretty solid and I would like to use it on my HTPC!

(I could program WinLIRC for it but the scripting would be a finster because of all the keys.

Macintosh ADB looks like S-Video, this is not ADB.

I'd just use LIRC if I were you bicostp, as most likely the receiver either puts out it's own codes that don't correspond to any PC keyboard, or just relays the IR pulses to whatever was supposed to recieve the signals.

The connector I've seen used only on old mouse-bus mice, and do not know the connector's name.

I'm fairly sure my iMac G3 had one, I think it was for IR, too.

To hook it to a computer, you'll need to reverse engineer it. I have a feeling you would have done this already if you had the means, though.

I'd just use LIRC if I were you bicostp, maybe salvaging the IR components from the box to build a LIRC compatable reciever.

Do you know what this reciever box was supposed to go to?

I already built a serial port IR reciever, and it's working with my PS2's DVD remote. The problem is you have to name, test, and accept every button on the remote. Then, since WinLIRC only does half the job, I have to create an AutoHotKey script that reads the WinLIRC signals and spits out a system command. I really wish I could re-write WinLIRC for built-in scripting... or at least a program that generates AutoHotKey scripts... (Everything for AHK is done in Notepad.)

It's pretty tedious.

Edit 2: Okay wait wait wait... this is obvious... it's a PS/2 port. Mini 9-pin DIN, like vb_master said... what's so confusing about this guys?

Am I missing something?

That's the keyboard, not the reciever box.

(I think they just made a couple different keyboards and had different recievers for the kind of jack they needed.)

PS/2 ports look like S-video, not like this.
