Yeah that may be an effect of watching G4, Techtv went down hill since they combined with G4, and now there is no TechTV left, just crap that G4 crapped out, I only watch AOTS for NEWs, I never watch any other crap on the Channel except for some half-baked game reveiws.

G4 sucks, TechTV was a ton better, back when robot wars was still on.

But even the news sucks

I used to watch TSS every day... and then AOTS... and then it all went down hill... and then Sarah left... and now it's all about Kevin meeting porn stars? I can't even watch the show without throwing up a little, I only watch XPlay which is still awesome... although the old set was better, with the lego table.

Unfortunately the closest thing we have to TSS now is DLTV, and the TWiT podcast. I'd love to see more thebroken podcasts, the first and third were awesome. It's a shame the darktips couldn't be made available online or for download.

And yes we can all agree that the G4 guys are Nazis that had to roll in and gas that which was TechTV.

It was probably still G4TechTV then, during a time when some of the TechTV exclusive shows were still retained. Nowadays, it's all gone to crap as the network has turned from TECH-focused to VIDEOGAME-focused to "MEN'S INTEREST"-focused programming. Enjoy your Spike Television for retards.

I liked G4 when it was called TechTV and didn't have a bunch of pompous chumps giving me penis jokes left and right. Okay, I'm a dude, I'm supposed to enjoy this stuff you call "men's interest". I figure that's fine, save for the fact that the network under its old management was PERFECTLY FINE AND MORE RELEVANT. We already have networks like this one, the aforementioned Spike TV, etc. Technology is increasing so much-fold in dominance of our lives that it's a pity that we can't have a network (delivered through a hugely technological medium in itself, television) dedicated to that facet.

Yes, even Extended Play (I mean, X-Play, you old time viewers know what I mean) has gone down hill. Adam and Morgan's idiocy used to be clever because it contrasted with the other shows of TechTV; now, not so much.

In short: TechTV had it all; G4TV took it all, raped it, burned it, and everything else unimaginable. It did not make it better (and it really never intended to from the first place as "men's interest" was its ultimate destination). What a miserable pile of fail.

I remember Icons and GameMakers too, they took game makers off the air and Icons became a male interest show with nothing more than movie directors and king kong.

I have a good question, why if G4 changed the name of the show TheScreenSavers, why the love of god why don't they let the people at TWiT us it for the original show title, Revenge of TheScreenSavors? I find it stupid that just because you hold the rights to a name, you can't allow the hosts of a show you took over, dissected, and completely destroyed have it for use so the previous fans can enjoy and find them easier?

Course this only personifies my hatred of G4. The whole idea of "Men's Interest" is a load. Who are they to say what men are interested in?! I don't find something like The Man Show something I'd watch again and again every night, nor do I find any of the crap reported on AoTS interesting or amusing. Icons for a short time was a good show, when they talked about the early video game industry.

I can only hope that Leo Laporte and the people at Revison3 can develop enough to get access onto On-Demand showings. I know no one from TechTV can afford to rebuild it, but hopeful some means back to TV would be nice. I'm not saying that building on the idea of IPTV isn't nice but I'd rather watch the shows on a TV then my computer, when I'm either gaming or browsing sites.

Yea I agree that Xplay is not as entertaining as it once was, it is still remotly entertaining, but the games reviews need to be dominant on a show about game reviews, also, when is that undoTV thing suppose to happen?

Actually, that was Comcast. I still hate Comcast, they are seriously ripping me off.
