my video ipod has a broken hard drive. my 20 gig regular ipod headphone jack is broken. can i swap the hard drives and have a 20 gig
video ipod or is the hard drives incompatible?
if they are anyone interested in swaping them for me?

its a hard drive, it wont matter unless its the real old ones maybe you would have size issues. you would have to format it differently though. im sure there is a site somewhere with directions on how to setup a new hdd for a video ipod.
the 20 gig has a broken headphone jack. and the 60 gig has a broken
hard drive. so i guess i'll just swap the headphone thing so the 20 gig works. sounds easier to me.

i take my comment back a little bit. you need to modify the cable some to hook it up to a video ipod also to get it to work and is apparently pretty hard as the cable is very fragile. i was thinking about the ipod photo...
