Hmm...

- Same size and processing power of the PSP
- Screen and versatility of the GP2X
- Uses SD cards
- Full touch screen
- Doubles as full-fledged PDA
- The main unit is just a screen, the motherboard, and generic controls. Game controls come from lock-on cradles so you don't have to map keys to different buttons.
- QWERTY kayboard cradle
- 802.11g capability, or at least ambedded ethernet
- Takes normal batteries

In the style of bicostp's:

-Side-kick like multi-touch screen
-Keyboard designed especially for thumbs, not two whole hands
-Best graphics possible.
-Dual Analog (That can be squished down ad flipped over)
-6 face buttons
-4 shoulder buttons (I know, I'm a button nut.)
-D-Pad (duh)
-Flips open to reveal two multi-touch screens that take up the entire thing
-Custom PC OS
-Homebrew encouragement
-Internet connectivity that utilizes cell phone towers to get greater distance.
-GOOD GAMES

add on 3d accelerator (not too sure of psp stats soo...), so we can play opengl and newer fps games

d pad and dual analogs

maybe internal hdd? (like 8 gigs would make me happy) plus sd support

built in powered usb port (and hub compatable)

av out built in

COMES WITH AC ADAPTER!

can run either linx or windows on it

i wouldnt mind doing 4x aa recharagables

i would pay near any price for this...

Dual Analog, D-Pad, 4 Buttons, 2 Triggers, Start & Select buttons.
3.5mm miniDVD discs to keep size smaller
A few FPS, and def. some RPG games and Platformers
Emulators for SNES and Megadrive, could do N64 and PSX I guess
Cut down version of Windows XP as OS.
Encouraged homebrew scene
Media player for videos and music
Internet capable, with "channels" to stream videos and music online
TV-Out to play on TV.

Hmm...

Sounds a lot like a Newton!

1. Same size, and you could overclock the processor to the PSP's top clock speed...
2.It does has the screen, and has the versatility of a GPX2, if you can dig through archives or program them yourself in BASIC
3.It can use Compact Flash cards with a card adaptor

oh, something about the size and shape of a gameboy micro, with a larger screen with a proper 4:3 aspect ratio. two SD slots for storage and gaming.

maybe give it a docking station that will have additional storage, controller ports, and tv-out

don't really care how fast the thing is. actually GBM is dangerously close to my ideal with an M3. nothing else I've seen even comes close, with the possible exception of the failed xgp mini.

no a gp2x is a horrible (edited my line to make it more PG)
maybe if it were easy to use and worked right it could be considered a virtual console replacement.

I have this odd feeling that nintendo's next handheld is going to go big into VC gaming. I like the idea as long as they provide some new 8-bit games with the old.
