There's not much there, but I have the layout/frames pretty much set. Maximize it on large screens to see ALL the details! And scope out my fakey transparent menu bars! (borrowed that trick from old Genesis games)

Also, make the background fixed for the to do list frame. That way it wont scroll when you try to. Use this code for the panel and it should look better.

I didn't know the To Do frame could scroll at all... I'll check into it!

Will the book cover how to make portables for different rgional systems (e.g. aren't there different versions of Snes like the PAL for Europe)? If not, will your book still give enough information on how to create portables even if not from America, or is there quite a difference between the two versions?

The only system form a different county then the U.S. is if you use a Famicom. For the most part PAL and NTSC are nothing but signals of the video, they have no effect on the size or shape of the motherboard.

Yeah, what sparkfist (let me check... yep sparkfist) said. Also if the motherboards are a bit different it will give you some good info.

Oh, the new site is gonna have lots of context-ads and link-throughs to stuff like auto-searches on eBay (for systems, screens) and book sales. Hopefully it should be fairly "integrated"...

You guys will probably be most interested in the kits of course! That's all me, no corporate stuff!

Yeah, but on the CRT screen I was using at school it was making some funky colors on the sides, kinda like when you see something black and white on a color tv with just the right texture you see some colors. Maybe that's an optical illusion...
