Stop and Swop!!!!!!!

Post by twilightprincess »

If you have ever played the banjo kazooie series (i bet you have)
You will know about the mysterious stop and swop with the eggs and the ice key. What the hell was that all about.
Three of the things you get in banjo kazooie, you can get in banjo tooie;
The ice key the purple egg and the blue egg, all they do is give you new moves. But these three things are the things that mumbo shows you at the end of bk. They dont do anything in bk but people say, that rare was gonna make it that you take out bk and then quickly put bt in (with N64's Remaining memory) you will be able to do something with these items. People say nintendo didnt like the idea so it was cast aside.
There is a funny hack that rare witch project made Here

I also thought that the ice key had something to do with the gate in rusty bucket bay and the gate in donkey kong 64 (lighthouse level) since they were both being made at the same time.

Thats my thoughts :D

K. they took it out. banjo tooie original was for the n64 dd. then they decided just to swap the game. (after deciding to port it to a cart) then nintendo said that wasn't a great idea. Then they took it out.

since when? and the reason stop and swap wont work today is because the internal memory that was originally going to be in the n4 would stay for 15 seconds after the n64 was removed but nintendo scratched that and now its like 2 seconds and bottles revenge is possible just with a gameshark isnt it?

Nah it was released, not available in America afaik, and def. not available in Europe, sure it is in Japan though, and removing a card mid-game and shoving it back in? Doesn't that game lock up on immediate removal of the cart?

Yeah, it was destined to be a huge flop before it hit the markets.

no you were supposed to have a message come up to tell you to stop and swop and you would turn off the system put in tooie or dk64 and turn it back on. and i really want a 64 dd for cubivor and simcity
