Ribbon Cable Help!

Post by Super Cameraman »

I have a Toshiba e755 (It's a PocketPC) and I love it very much, but now the ribbon cable ripped, and I have no clue how to fix it. I could get a replacement screen both those go for about 200 dollars on eBay. (The PocketPC's themselves are only 150 on eBay!!! WTF!?)

So does anyone know how I can fix this? Or does anyone have a spare screen they don't need?

-Super

Is it one of those stupid copper-tiny ones, or an IDE-styled one? The latter is the only really fixable one, unless you have time and an awesome soldering iron.

Offtopic, why do you put -Super in each message manually, when you have a sig?

It's... a habit. At this other forum I belong to, everyone does it. I used to write "-Super Cameraman" but I got lazy. I would write "Supe's" but that's just annoying.

And yes, the traces and TINY.

-Super (Wow, I didn't even THINK when I was writing that! It's like my mind says "Okay, the post is over, press enter, shift, underscore, s, u, p, e, and r in that order. Okay, great, now press submit.)
