What sort of voltage do they run on?

usely 9v but some use 12v or 24v.

singal info:
some camera use coxial thats an rf cable and others use composite. on a differnt camera that i had the coxial could be just conceted like a composite cable.

So, what do the transmitters usually accept.. what sort should I look for in both pieces?

i have seen some that take the rf cable.
try a shoping center they migt have one for sending your dvd player singal to another some thin like that might work.

Still kinda stuck on the transmittion stage, but am thinking of gutting an old rc car, and putting my own, PIC based reciever / transmitter pair in it, and some decent motors. Lets boost this sucker up with a pair of SLA batteries.
