If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
I was thinking of using the ZN-40 polycase for my portable, I was wondering what kind of screen could fit in this case?
How big can I go?

looking at his playmad, it looks like he chopped off a bit of the screen at the top. is that just a extraneous part of the board?

I'm currently building a portable with the ZN-40, and yes you have to chop off the top to get it to fit. This means you must either rewire the parts you chopped off or LED mod the screen

What tool do you use to chop with? (A clever Mayhaps? )

dremels work nicely. or if you feel lucky an ex-acto knife will work if you score it many times, deep and hard, and then break it off. I did it with a dremel.
