Tell me more about this PIC. Is a thing you can buy and hook LED's up to, or just the chip?

marshall has plans for a $1 programmer on his site, and i have an 877A and 767 chip and a breadboard already. oh and leds. i think thats everything. all the software is already installed.

oh and that article on programmable interrupt controllers is unrelated. PIC dosen't actually stand for anything (officially) its just like a brand name
