I just thought of a idea! It is so freaking simple and everyone with a computer would want it! I need someone who knows a lot about PSU's and wiring to help me than I will share with you!

Seriously, I looked all over and saw noting like the idea I have! It is so original/simple!

I e-mailed Ben and he never replied so I guess someone else can help me out or he just dident get the e-mail!? Ben please help you would know how to do this idea probably!

When I am rich I am gonna get a solid gold toilet seat!

I am not kidding this is the BEST, IDEA, EVER! Also I know it can be done! First person who can prove they can help me with it I will get to be rich with me! It is so simple who has nobody thought if this yet! PM me if you know a lot about PSU's and electricity and stuff!

Edit: If you want to help, you need to know how to build a custom fuse/circuit breaker.

Seriously, I've already seen fuses inside many power supplies, if that's what you're thinking.

This reminds me of the time I was reading about some forum user's method of reach faster-than-light speeds. After hyping about it for a while he finally explained it: Accelerate a vessel in a particle accelerator up to 99.99...% of light speed, then ignite the rocket in the back to give an extra umph..........

Yes, exactly, the brilliant idea was silly, useless, and impossible. I'm not saying yours is, but I'd sure like...you know.... to KNOW what it is BEFORE I waste any time on the subject!

OKAY OKAY! Here is my idea! Not a fuse inside the PSU but on the end of the cords where you attach them to the motherboard and stuff! So if the PSU decides to go tesla coil on you the fuses on the end of the cord will save all of your stuff!

Wall-Surge Protector-PSU CORD-PSU-Cord out of PSU-Fuse on end of cord-Motherboard or HDD or w/e you plug it into!

See its a good idea! Dont steal it as I wanna be rich and get a golden toilet seat! THAT IS GONNA OWN!!! Also a super computer with a 10GHz processor and stuff!

My life goal is to make a company and make realy good PSU/GPU heatsinks! Also make it so you don't have to fool with those dang claps on AMD CPU's.

You like me idea and wanna help! We cant start a company called something cool!

Or maybe "POS Inc" Hey bob what kind of heatsink do you have "Oh, I got this big POS one!" LOL

Don't see it being a good idea as most devices *should* have fuses onboard already.

Ok, maybe not. Personally I have never- NEVER- had a PSU damage my computer, so I can't see much use for this sort of thing. PSU's already contain various fail-safes making this idea sort of redundant.

Something else you could work on is finding a convenient way to give users access to the CMOS reset jumper. This way they wouldn't need to crawl under the desk and open the computer everytime an overclock goes sour. The key words here are "Convenience" and "marketable."
