Wiimote With PC Help

Post by HotDog-Cart »

Hey guys, I need a step by step intsurtuction on what I need to get my wiimote to work with my PC. (Bluetooth Only) (I Have Built in Bluetooth, and GLOVEpie).

Like, I dont understand how to get my computer to recognize the Wiimote. (I got it to recognize it before, but it says It needed a "password" and need to "associate it with a porgram".)

Than I tried GLOVEpie, but I dont even understand how to make it recognize my Wiimote.

Thanks.

(By step by step, I mean like, Walk me through from beginning to end)

Thanks again.

I'd help ya, but all i know is that it was much easier on OS X (It just synced like right away) But you could try making a password of 121212 and then typing it on the wiimote with the 1 and 2 buttons....idk,

It's easier to set up, but you can't map scripts and make your own stuff like GlovePIE can.

For Windows XP, go to your "Add a bluetooth device wizard", and make sure to select "No Password". Then, hit 1 and 2 on the wiimote, and you're good to go.

Hit 1 and 2 on the wiimote at the SAME time?

Also, How do I set it up using GLOVEpie? I just wanna use it for browsing internet explorer and playing a few games. (FPS's and flash games)

Ya, all you have to do is get BlueSoleil and add the Wiimote as a device there. Er, just keep in mind you need a Bluetooth receiver. :P

EDIT: Ya, to make the Wiimote detectable by the receiver and BlueSoleil, you need to press 1 and 2 at the same time.

You'll know if you're ready to connect when the LED's on the wiimote start flashing 2.7 times per second.

So, it connects? You mean you want a glovepie script.

Well, do you have a USB-sensor bar? If not, make one now.

I'll start making you a good mouse script, as for the FPS's, that depends on what keys you need etc.etc.

I'm just using bluetooth mode.

I need help setting it up, My computer recognizes the wiimote, I click "skip" when it asks me for a password, and then I select the Wiimote service. (Under the service it says "Use a Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard ect")

After thats all done, I heard a "Beep" sound fron my laptop, which indicates it recognizes it, but now all the wiimote does is just blink its 4 lights constintly, and It doesnt work.

Also the bluetooth icon on my task bar goes Blue and Green, instead of Blue and White. (Blue and White is default)

Like I said guys, I need a STEP by STEP. You guys arent even giving me that, and now I'm even more confusied. I tried that BlueSoliel, but I cant even understand how to make it detect my wiimote.

GLOVEpie only just makes my mouse go crazy, and fly up to the left corner, and the wiimote doesnt even move my mouse or anything. Help.

I dont mean to bump, but guys I need help. Ive been sitting here for like... hours trying to figure this out.

I also tried WiinRemote, and all it does is say "Error[5]: Acess Denied"

Anyone know how to fix that?

Also someone help me on getting the wiimote working.

Bluesoleil uninstalled my bluetooth drivers (GG -_-), so i had to re-install them after uninstalling Bluesoleil. I need to get this working guys.

(C'mon like, I wanna play Halo: Combat Evolved demo, with my wiimote)

Also, when its "connected" the 4 blue lights keep flashing, are they supposed to do that? (Like they flash like the same as when you press 1 + 2, but they dont stop.)

Is it supposed to do that?
