Replacement Alcohol 120%?

Post by Mageslayer »

Any alternative and completely free programs that offer virtual drive support (mounting and unmounting images from them)? For some reason my program suddenly reverted to unregistered and I won't "buy" it again. Why? Just trust me.

It works great for games that require the cd being in at all times. I don't think theres any limit to how many virtual drives you can make either which is good, As many others offer limits.
Meh... So I don't post much?

There seems to be a limit of four drives, unless I'm missing something. Alcohol let me have more. However, It's not a huge deal and I'm happy with the program so far. Thanks for the suggestion once again, vb.

@jongamer: Notice the difference between bought and "bought". Recently I received a suspension of my internet account for suspected illegal downloads. The cable company said that if they caught me doing it again (even though I didn't do it in the first place.... piracy is bad!), we'd be legally liable. So even if I wanted to download a crack (which I don't... that's bad!), it would be a bad idea.
@Sir Games-a-Lot: I assume you mean the toolbar? Yeah, that's not been installed. Toolbar generally = bad.

There's always ImgBurn, it burns almost every image format that alcohol can. If you want a free virtual drive, try the WinXP Virtual Control Panel (also works in win2k)

Well, the thing is the cable company (who should, in my opinion, be able to do all the spying they want seeing as how they are providing the service to you.... It's their internet, you're just borrowing it :P) didn't "catch" any piracy. They were sent a letter directly from both NBC's anti piracy department (for supposedly downloading the Ali G movie) and that of the business software alliance (the makers of Autocad, which they accused me of downloading).

Righto, either that or PowerISO should get the job done.
