Halo 3 how long 'til it falls

When Halo 3 comes out, how long until it falls to the modders. Hopefully we won't see as much XBL cheating as in the past. When I say modders, I mean custom weapons and maps for single/multiplayer OFFLINE. But what's your prediction, how long after it comes out until someone cracks the map encryption and makes some mods. I'm predicting somewhere around 1yr. some of the hackers out there are good, but not that good.

I hate Halo (sort of).

I hate it for the fact that when Microsoft comes out with the PC vs. 360 thing, there will be little time to play because, everyone with a 360 and their cousin will be playing Halo 3. They just destroy the competition. Sad really...

So far with everything (except windows) they haven't had too many security holes. At least the people who make PSP firmware aren't helping out with this, there a new exploit in every firmware. It's bound to get cracked eventually, like every good app and game. 18 months sounds about right.
