$50 for a Wii?

I don't know if it's just me, but this is the first broken Wii I've seen up on Ebay, and it's a cheap one! And with only 2 days left, the $50 fee with no bids seems pretty damn good, especially since the problem (disk drive doesn't pull in disks) seems extremely fixable. Possibly a cheap Wii for those who don't have one, or perhaps one for some of our more advanced hackers to take a look at...

Sorry if this isn't allowed to be posted, but I just thought some of our members would be interested.

anyway $50 4 a wii is pretty cheap.
u could still take it apart 4 parts anyway.

considering that is less than what gamestop.EBGames will give you even if it is broken yes good deal!

if anything you are buying the wii-mote and nunchuk for the cheap

I would say it would be great to attemmpt hacking the hard drive and placing emus on it (come on you know you wanna)

$65 shipped without a wiimote is steep but doable. but the 25 feedback with a mutually withdrawn seems a bit of an unnecessary risk on top of it. Add to that the lack of picture and it's looking pretty undesirable.

somebody abused this thing badly.
but of course I've got it on watch.

i have a feeling that we are going to see more of these. there are a lot of people out there soldering the life out of their wiis with the recent release of all the modchips.
the eject issue is a common thing that goes due to a bad install, as a fuse very close to the install site blows.

desolder the mod chip and jump the fuse.

easy fix then.

Indeed he has.

wii boots up and place virtual consol games fine and surfs internet and has game saves on it

However, I'd buy a broken Wii from someone who can at least spell "virtual console" and knows when to use punctuation.

I really hate doing bidding wars against forum goers, so what's your max bid and reason for grabbing it? Don't want to make you pay more

My max would be ~$100 and for modding/fixing purposes
