I really hate people when they do the 'how many fingers am I holding up thing' and then do things like 'thats a thumb' and all that stuff.

Differences on our vivsion mean nothing.

Yeah, being color blind does sound like it sucks, but I'd take a problem with my eyes over problems with hearing anyday

....

my eyes are a tiny bit screwed up, though......objects are slightly blurry at a distance, but since I can still read medium to large text, I don't mind. Hell, I'm so used to it it seems wierd whenever I put on my glasses

I'm near sighted to about 3 feet, after that everything is Very Blurry, Again yes everyone askes me how many fingures, I tell them, its just blurry Jackass

I functioned without glasses till I was 15 when I had to strain for the eye exam on my liscense (yea in SC there was a way to get one's liscense at 15)

Really, my problem is all the rapid focusing, if there are too many demands on my eyes to focus severy differet ways very quickly, I get nauseous

wow im blind i cant read my alarm clock if im more then a foot away really. but contacts fix it so its all good...

I'm nearsighted in my left eye, and farsighted in my right eye. Neither is too bad though, I can still function well without my glasses, just can't read far-away text. Also, I'm considering trying out contacts, but I don't like the idea of sticking my finger in my eye.
