I am drawing a total blank as what to do to mod my DS Phat. You guys got any ideas?

No, but seriously, try making a new case for it like EnterTheHatrix did. It'd be neat to see another completely re-tooled case!

I was thinking of making a sliding ds. Like a lot of cellphones are doing these days. Just not sure how I'd make the mechanism... I kind of wanna do something so I can improve my bondoing skills...

Yeah I wouldn't do a sliding mod..

The ribbon cables aren't long enough for a start.

You could try your hand at a hingeless mod like mine.

while your at it OC it and update the firmware

also, think about this for the slide mod, if you want to, just increase the ribbon length (by running IDE wire to the equal pins) and remember it will be a beotch, however, my main issue is that the praticality isn't there, most of the games I know use both screens and well might as well have them both in view for the full effect,

You could take and also add some really large MaH batteries while your there as well,

You could incorperate an MP3 player into the mix (or do the homebrew thingy)

and for paint job VAN HALEN SCRIPT LOGO! (trust me this one will bring LOTS of attention)

Adding LED's is always nice. I want to mod a DS as well, but nothing difficult or extreme because it's not mine. Paint job, some LED's, and?

I'm thinking, just now, and it would be awesome to have a clear nintendo logo on bondo'ed on the front that is lit by LED's, if space permits. Like G-force's NES controller.

I was planning on doing this but the existing nintendo logo isn't see-through enough to light up... anybody have an idea as to where i could get a clear Nintendo logo or make one myself?
