amp chip pin out needed

This is what you need; the datasheet. What you posted was just a schematic for an audio amp circuit revolving around the 2030. The datasheet contains the pinout, along with any other info you'll need on the amp.

Just out of curiosity, what are you working on that uses a 14 watt audio amp anyway? You know that's kinda loud for a portable, right?

i am useing the amp for a controlor mod i was going to for the ps2 but now im am going to do a mod on my freinds xbox controlor. its just a speaker in a controlor. the 14w should suprize him.

That's odd. It loads fine for me. Can your browser open PDFs? If not, try right-clicking it and hitting Save Link As. Datasheets are always in PDF form... so...

Anyway, yeah, that sounds pretty cool. But make SURE you get a speaker that can take it. A 10 watt speaker, for instance, will probably distort badly at max volume with a 14 watt amp. A 15 watt speaker wil be fine.

*does some research* Actually... you know what? You can't even get a 15 watt speaker anywhere NEAR small enough to fit in an Xbox controller. That would seriously be WAY too loud anyway... you should invest in... maybe a 1 or 2 watt amp... 5 watts max.

I know... pretty much nothing about the amount of free space there is inside an Xbox controller... so you're gonna have to figure that part out on your own. You need to find out how much space there is in there, so you can get a speaker that will fit inside it. The higher the wattage, the larger the speaker... generally speaking. So measure the available space inside the controller, and report back here so we can find you a good speaker. Then we need to build a suitable amp for said speaker.

what if i wire a fixed resitior to the speaker that should lower the volume enough should it not.

You seem to be attached to this particular amp. Do you already have a speaker in mind you want to use? An amp like that driving a smaller speaker will probably just result in wasted power and excess heat, but yes, I'm sure you can technically limit the amp's power. Not by adding a resistor in between the speaker and the amp, though. I think that will just raise the impedance of the speaker... maybe... I'm not sure now. Anyone else have some helpful comments?

Also, do you already have the speaker you want to use?

No i was going to use a ps1 screens speaker but its only 1w so it would be a bit of over kill.

the reasion that i am attached to this amp is because its the only one that i have and my nearest electroins store is miles away and i wont be going to it for a while. and the dleviry charge cost too much.

Huh... yeah... that amp is surely overkill for a PSOne screen speaker. You might need a different amp... can you take the amp off the PSOne screen that you got the speaker out of?

Looking at the component side of your PSOne screen with the inverter at the TOP, the audio amp is the chip on the far right side, labeled IC7. It's an LM4835. Here's the datasheet.

This is true... that's gonna be the main problem with using that chip... for SMD work, I'm going to build myself a hot air soldering iron. Something like this.
