I have decided to make a nesp because all the other things i have tried to make (n64p,snesp) i have been told, break easily or are not a good choice to make my first.
So far i have these things HaveDon't
Nes,Noac,Famicom
controller
screen
battery's
bondo
paint tools
sandpaper soldering iron
de-soldering pump
wires & other random equipment
If anyone can help me with this project for two reasons im only 13 and secondly this is my first project. Thanks everyone for reading (I will post progress pics along the way)

Are you like, going to use a real NES and not one of those NOAC things.
Because like, the NES is a giant brick (happy giant brick) and the NOAC thigns are like... Little tiny super happy pirate fun non-bricks of death... or something... They're smaller...

thanks i have never owned a nes and i need games to work in australia, but i have no idea about the noac,famicom all that stuff. so can anyone tell me the best one to use. im looking for something under hmmmm under 30-40 us. not my money my parents
Australia "should" be the international version.
That is, NTSC, and 72-pin cartridges...
Pretty much all the NOAC's I know of use PAL, 60 pin cartridges....
You can make an adapter!
Check all other the NES section of the forums, you'll find something!

hmm what are you on? pal uses 72pin cartridges and isnt international ntscj used 60 pin. but it doesnt matter ialready pmed him about a noac that plays pal and ntsc that ive got

Famicom (Jjapan as a whole) uses NTSC, and 60 pins. The NES, which was released everywhere else from what I understand, is 72 pin and NTSC for North America and PAL for Europe and everywhere else.

well thats because... polands stupid its the same thing in morocco just like polystations and famiclone games the systems themselves arent pal they just output it in video

well i have been told by someone in my friends post, that a snes is more solid and would be better to make as a first portable. since i like snes games better like super mario world and stuff, i will probably do a snes portable. anyway i think that a snes will be way easier to get in australia, so well thats it this topic is over. If a mod can delete this post please do.
