I was kinda dissapointed that I couldn't find the green that we always saw in the days before the wii launch, but I'm pretty happy how this turned out. By the way, just a tip, Enamel paint works like a dream on plastic

Hey, what was that paint that someone used over the color to give a sleek shine to their portable or something? I forgot what it was...
Anyways, if I or one of you could find that out, I'd totally freaking do that w/ one of mine...

Just generic Rona brand paint (Rona is a like a Home Depot) Any enamel should work just fine.

I didn't want it green... That would have a killer job to try and mask off the surrounding area of the icon just to make it green... too much effort if you ask me

Probably a good $65 or more on ebay, seeing as even the original wiimote isn't the easiest to find in stores now.
For the "shiny" look, were you thinking of acrylic? (Different person.)
