This is focused on the player 2 pinout... if you're looking for the 'rest' of it all, check this.

I was wondering if anybody hasfigured out the player two port for the new SJ noac boards. If I had an old NOAC whole, I could figure out the conversion... but I don't, and can't.
I'm figured out this whole darn board... does anybody have the NES controller (color wires) conversion for the crazy SJ3 board? I like that it's off to the side... I don't like that nobody can seem to figure it out.
I've been putting off this portable for EVER! (for this and I'm afraid of epoxy vs card slot force in any design) but I need to get it wrapped up, and this is the only thing holding me back.
Lol, I can't wait to get it done, it's so painful to have all your circuits laid out, case completed and painted, AAs on the charger, all the custom circuits made and.... be holding out for info. Ahhh! SOS!
If you don't know off hand, but have either an older superjoy (lucky) or the new one (grass is always greener, eh?) still in one piece, just trace the wires for me back to the p2 connector and I'll be able to figure it out for future generations.
we'll use this as a standard (board/SJ mail connector to SJ p2/lightgun)

Thanks for your help, Team 8bit!
Cheers!

New (smaller) SJ3 P2 pinout (HELP!)

Can you post some high-def shots of this picture, focused on the two ribbon cables and the traces around them? Also, take some nice shots of that top controller input board.
I'm sure there are some pinouts laying around the forum of the older model - of the player 2 controller input port (up top). Those are bound to be the same as this new one's.

the cart slot is covered (it's the same as all the other noac and famicom systems) (well, the famiclones, anyhow)
I need the player two port dissected. I can't figure it out mostly because a) it's new and not documented yet and b) the controllers that come with the SJ3 don't have the proper wire colors (at least the two I tried)
