On to the point. I'm not making a portable, but I have some pretty serious composite video modding going on. My design could, technically, be considered similar to ben's original 2600 mod, except, of course, it uses stationary resistors instead of adjustable potentiometers. Why? It forms a much solider D->A conversion, and in theory, shouldn't require any adjustment. Thus far, this converter uses 1.5, 2.7, and 5.6k resistors respectively. Besides that, though, it's nearly identical.
Now my problem. For some strange reason I seem to be getting what could be called "noise" in my mod. No dots across the screen, no faking out after a few minutes, no ghosting. What it is, could basically be described as "faint vertical lines" stationary across my image. Not really "tearing" through it, but just enough to be annoying.
So here comes my question. 1. Has anyone else expierianced this? and 2. How can I fix this?
Thank you for your time.
