I compared the video quality out of this thing and it's painful compared to the NES. It looks like crappy RF, but not. It's hard to explain, but when contrasting colors are near each other they look awful, for example, Mario against the blue backdrop has this wierd pink on the side of him.

I'm by no means an expert when it comes to video signals and such, but it sounds like dot crawl. Wiki says a comb filter would help, but I have no idea what that would be. If you figure out what's wrong, post it here.... I just found a SJIII at Value Village for $5, cracked it open and have yet to test it.
