...unless you use the homebrew web broswer known as Links2 for the PSP. It's actually decent browsing (Way Above 56k speeds, I'd say in between 56K and DSL if you use a Cable Host)

The PSP browser is free. It comes with all firmwares 2.00+. However, it is no less gimmicky. It was merely tacked on to make people want to update to Sony's newer, less piracy-facilitating firmwares. Of course that's all old news, there's firmwares much newer than 2.00 that have been hacked.bicostp wrote:It's like the PSP browser; it's a gimmick thrown on top to get you to shell out more money. (Or is the PSP browser free?)
"What kind of a monster are you?"I once wrote:My head may be in the clouds, but the view up here is breathtaking.
"The kind that killed your family."

yep I have it too, I use it a lot. Mainly when the computer is in use, I use it all the time to check these forums, I imported the Jap Version a week before the European version came out.
I think its a great way to look up cheats for a game if you dont have a Computer where you game, and you have the Option to turn off pics so you can get pages to load faster.
And the RAM expansion cart is Required, If you tried to connect to the internet without it, it will shut itself off. I paid 50 bucks inported from Hongkong for this, and as much as I use it, it was worth it.
I wouldnt think this is gonna be much than a normal High end DS game ($35) Probably like 45 at max, its only 50 to import it because of shipping and cause your Importing it from another country.
You can also use AIM or Yahoo or MSN Messengers with the Browser, just go to AIMonpsp.com for AIM, or go to ebuddy.com for AIM and the other 2.
Only thing I think that slows me down is typing, but at least typing is a lot easier than PSP crappy browser.
