Post your collections (56k o snap)

Post by wallydawg »

Had nothing to do today to I took some pictures of my video game collection. Some pictures are kind of blurry cause I suck at taking photos; my damn hand shakes too much. Some of the really bad ones I will retake, when I'm not so lazy.

Have a look, reminisce about your favorite games as a kid, yell at me for not having your favorite game, or make fun of me for owning little girl games like Crystal's Pony Tale and Little Mermaid games. It's a modest collection so far, at least to some of the other ones I have seen.

That's a pretty broad collection you have going, I think I'd tie you, considering I have a ton of games, but not a large range of systems.

Can't wait to see others! :P

methinks you need to use the macro mode on your camera, I think it is, or SOMETHING to make those pictures a little less blurry ;)

I try not to collect games but instead get really good ones that I know I'll play all the time (i.e. Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi's Island, Star Fox, etc.). As such, my library isn't large enough to share, really.

Yeah, mine's really small as well. I mean, I've probably owned about that many games at one point, but I'm a sorta "buy and sell" kinda guy, I only keep games I REALLY like. But that is a great collection! Just out of curiosity, how the HELL did you manage to get Panzer Dragoon for the Saturn?!?!

There were three Panzer Dragoon games on Saturn. Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon 2: Zwei, and Panzer Dragoon Saga. Saga is the expensive one that you were thinking of, and is actually worth it's price tag, unlike other expensive games (Silent Hill and FF7, I'm looking at you).

100+ on a game seems like a lot, but I have no problem with it if the game is worth it. Right now I'm in the market for Radiant Silvergun, so that's gonna set me back a few.

I am in image macro mode too; the problem with the pictures is me, not the camera. I guess there goes my career in, well lets say a swimsuit model photographer, 'cause of all the youngins here.

 That's pretty... a lot... I'll post my collection when I get my SNES games back from Kelly...

I see you've picked up Tales of Phantasia for GBA. Have you ever played the original for SNES? It's SOOOO much better. The graphics were like... PS1 quality, just about, and the gameplay was about twice as fast. When they ported it to GBA, I think they had to "slim it down" a bit because the GBA isn't actually as powerful as the SNES. Oh, and the english voice acting is earsplitting (as usual) compared to the japanese voice acting. The translation is pretty bad too... Trust me: Download the ROM, and DeJap's translation patch, and be happy.
