It hasn't been out long now.

enviga they call it...

Done by Nestle/Coke.

"Enviga, drink negative..."
"The CALORIE BURNER..."

Sparkling green tea.
It's pretty good!
Back of Can wrote:enviga is a delicious and refreshing sparkling green tea that invigorates you metabolism to gently increase calorie burning.
By giving your body a little extra boost, enviga is a simple and positive step you can take toward a healthy balanced lifestyle.
It's got a lot of caffeine, calcium, and LOADS of EGCG.

Ya know, EGCG? That stuff that's in green tea? Well enviga is LOADED with it, which is what does the job.

By drinking three cans of enviga a day, you can burn between 60 and 100 calories.

"Invigorate your metabolism..."

It also comes in Berry and Peach, both of which are still green tea, just added flavor.
Wikipedia's enviga article wrote:Enviga
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Type Canned sparkling green tea
Manufacturer The Coca-Cola Company
Country of Origin USA
Introduced 2006

Enviga is a Nestea carbonated canned green-tea drink being jointly marketed by the Coca-Cola Company and Nestle Switzerland. It is availiable in 3 flavors: Green tea, peach and berry. [1]. According to Coca-Cola, Enviga burns 60 to 100 calories per three 12-oz.(330 ml) cans due to its high EGCG and caffeine content. More details on Enviga's own study here: http://www.enviga.com/#Science . Along with this, Enviga also contains 20% of the daily value of calcium.[2]

As reported in the Sydney Morning Herald, flavoured bottled water, sports drinks and teas, are increasing sales with the decline in sales of sugary soft drinks - with cold tea the fastest growing non-carbonated beverage category in the U.S. during the first half of 2006. Prior to launch, Coke had been trailing and losing market share[1] in this sector to Pepsi, AriZona and Snapple.

Lawsuits over health claims

The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) has filed a lawsuit over company claims that Enviga acts as a calorie-burning and weight-loss product[2]. The group claims that if Coca-Cola and Nestle stop marketing the product as a calorie-burner, they would drop possible litigation. The beverage makers responded that they have deliberately avoided claims that Enviga is a weight-loss product, and that there exists independent research to substantiate the effects of the product.

The State of Connecticut is investigating the calorie-burning qualities of the drink. The State Attorney General Richard Blumenthal has demanded [3] all scientific research associated with its calorie-burning qualities [4].

I'm not sure about it. Is it like an energy drink?

Well yes it is an energy drink...

But the main "appeal" is the fact that it burns calories.
So like, instead of a Coke with ie 235 calories, enviga has -25 calories.
Get they idea?

You drink 3 a day, you burn 60 to 100 calories.

Cant you burn 100 calories by just taking a nap? Sounds like a ripoff to me, and fake tea sucks.

hey Im from the south, tea is supposed to be real dark brown with lots of sugar and in a glass full of ice. Green tea ain't real tea. besides the way we southerners make our tea there is almost as much caffine as in a cup of coffee, and with as much sugar as we put in it it gives you Plenty of energy.

Besides your attempts to sound smart, the point is that every single one of these bottled teas are made from instant "tea" powder which has nothing to do with tea leaves at all, just a chemical cocktail meant to vaguely resemble real tea. Green tea and black tea are both real tea for real, they even come from the same plant, it is just black tea is fermented first.

Also "jleemero" stinks heavily of a spam bot, you know, someone who is paid to go on forums and advertise products, of course he is not going to criticize it.

Honestly I don't see the need for someone with 7 posts to be accusing others of being a spambot.... Also, before you accuse, try looking at their posts to determine for yourself whether they're a spambot. In less than a minute I was able to find this

and more specifically, this

Taking accusatory stances against those whose innocence can be proven is not a way to make a good first impression....
