CNC portable Atari DC Adapter Question 04/03/07
EDIT 04/03/07: Does anyone know if the DC input on the CNC built Atari 2600 portable will work with a standard Atari 2600 adapter? I would hate to fry this thing!!!
I purchased everything needed to make the CNC Atari 2600 portable, even the kit from benheck.com, after sorting through the mound of parts I realized there is no way I can do this project...this is where YOU come in....I will pay someone to put this together for me!! I will mail you all the parts including the super glue, there should be no out of pocket expense for YOU!!! I will also pay shipping both ways. If needed I can also send you Ben's BOOK that I bought from Amazon.
If you know you can do this project and want to make a few extra dollars please email me at admin@salemfrostgames.com and we can talk $$$$
Thank you,
Tim

Hello All,
Sorry haven't checked here in a few days, why is this fishy? I seriously am doubting my skill to do this, I have little or no experience with electronics but I badly want an Atari portable, and just days after buying all the parts Ben announces he is making a new batch to sell, I have already spent like 375.00 on everything and I want it to be perfect. I was hoping someone on here that has built one before would be willing to make another one for me, I have all the parts already.
In no way is this a scam it's just a cry for help.
Tim
P.S. check out my website to show you I am an atari fan www.salemfrostgames.com (this is not spam I am not trying to drum up business)

If you guys are that worried have him mail the parts to a PO Box or something like that. If the person is sending the materials and paying for the competed work, I'd be very surprised.

I am a geek.
I am not going to spam anyones email address, I am not going to sell it on my website (or ebay), I have already reached an agreement with someone to help me and once he's done you will all see this was as black and white as I said it was. All I want is a working Atari 2600 portable and I don't think I can do it myself so I asked for help on the board I really didn't think it would cause this much trouble.
